Self-employed proof	Company registration certificate, company bank statements (last 6 months) signed & stamped; company ITRs.
Business invitation	Invitation letter from UK business host/company, host company proof (registration/licence), host’s bank statement/address proof.
Additional finance proof	Evidence of funds to support stay and return, plus business continuity in India.

Covering letter	Addressed to the British High Commission (Mumbai) stating travel purpose.
Employment proof (if employed)	Last 3 months’ salary slips, leave approval from employer; personal bank statement for last 6 months (stamped & signed); ITRs for past 3 years.
Self-employed proof	Company registration certificate (English), company bank statements (last 6 months, stamped & signed), company ITRs.
Invitation documents	If invited: invitation letter from UK host, host’s passport/visa copy, host’s recent bank statement, proof of host address in UK.
Additional finance proof	Evidence of savings/investments (e.g., property, fixed deposits) to show you’ll leave UK at end of stay.
